Working Together to Build The Tower (Bade)
Ubud, Bali, July 10, 2008 – Hundreds of local artists and community members have worked together to build the tower (Bade) that will be part of the massive parade for the Royal Cremation Ceremony (Pelebon) on July 15, 2008 in Ubud, Bali. The 28.5 meter high, 11 ton Bade is made of bamboo and betel nut (pinang).Click here for picture in higher resolution
